My family has been going to the Mon Valley YMCA for years! When our family began to grow, we decided it would be a great idea to enroll our oldest son, Tyler into their Learning Journeys program. This program was designed for kids ages 2.5-3 years old to slowly introduce a pre-school like setting. This gave my son the opportunity to learn and socialize with other kids his age. He has since then moved up to the 2-day pre-k and will go to 3-day pre-k next Fall.
Beyond the pre-school that we have our child enrolled in, we also have enrolled him in other fun activities such as swim lessons, kinder-soccer and summer camp! The Mon Valley YMCA has helped our child grow both in his education as well as his social skills. We would HIGHLY recommend the Mon Valley YMCA to anyone looking for extracurricular activities for their child or if they are just looking for a good gym to join!
