This past weekend my family and I got to enjoy going to Kennywood Amusement Park to enjoy the holiday lights! This was actually both my kid's first time at Kennywood and they had an absolute BLAST. Tyler was old and big enough finally to ride some of the rides with his dad and he would not stop talking about the Jack Rabbit roller coaster! Alex is still pretty young but he did go on the Carousel ride and enjoyed dancing and looking at the holiday light displays. Because my family also celebrates Hanukkah, we made sure to get a picture with the entire family in front of their Hanukkah display too.

There are tons of fun things happening this year at the Kennywood holiday light display as well as some classics. Check out the list below!
1. Meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
This is the first year that kids are able to meet Rudolph and his friends Clarice, Bumble and Sam the Snowman. This is a great opportunity for your kids to get pictures with their favorite characters for the holidays.
2. Dinner with Santa
While we did not do this (due to timing on our end) but there is the ability to have dinner with Santa and Mrs. Claus! You get the enjoy this fun holiday experience while endulging in an all-you-can-eat Christmas buffet dinner with Santa himself. This experience includes a photo and kids' holiday cup!
3. Holiday Reflections Light Show
As you stroll through the park, enjoy thousands of animated light displays. Watch how these displays come to life around the Lagoon into a winter wonderland that is synchronized to holiday music.
4. Meet with Santa in Lost Kennywood
Share your wishlist with Santa this year by visiting him in Lost Kennywood! Be sure to capture the moment when you meet and greet Santa.
5. Rides and Attractions
There are still some fun rides open during the holiday season for all to enjoy. Experience the joy and thrills riding roller coasters bring with your family and make the holiday season even more magical. (All rides are weather permitting. Select rides will operate on nights temperatures remain above 40 degrees)

6. Other Fun at Kennywood
Check out the many shows happening during the holiday lights at Kennywood. Songs from Michael Buble, Ariana Grande and Bruno Mars will fill the air at the Garden Stage. Don't forget to grab some festive treats and drinks while you are walking around the park too! While you are at the park, don't forget to send a letter to Santa!
