If there's one thing I make sure my family does every Fall, it's go to Triple B Farms located in Monongahela, PA. The kids have a blast because there is so much to do there. From the pumpkin patches to yummy food and so many kid activities, there's never a dull moment. Plus, like every other parent out there, Fall farm fun makes for good candid and family photos.
Because we frequent Triple B Farms every October, I wanted to share my top 5 favorite things my family loves to do there.
1. Pumpkin Patches
Every year, we let our kids pick out a pumpkin of their choice. Usually my oldest will go through every pumpkin, one-by-one until he finds the biggest one in the patch. The thing we love the most about the Triple B Farms is while they have a big pumpkin patch that you can browse through, there are also pumpkin lineups near the food barn. We love this because of how they have the pumpkins organized in different sections based on coloring and size. This allows for us to easily find exactly what we are looking for when it comes to choosing the perfect pumpkin.
2. Farm Fun For the Kids
There are SO MANY things to do with the kids at Triple B Farms in Monongahela. I have each things listed out but I can confirm that my kids LOVE getting lost in the corn mazes but acting very confident in knowing exactly where to go. (Keep in mind, my oldest is almost 5 years old so the sense of direction isn't there yet haha). There are actually two corn mazes at Triple B Farms. One is located by the Play Barn on the lower end of the Farm while the other one is at the top of the hill next to the jumping pillows and scooters. The jumping pillows are also a fan favorite amongst the kids. We typically do that last so they get all their energy out before heading home. There are other fun things over in Pop's Farm Fun area such as a giant piano, the Squirrel Hill Tunnel Tubes, giant candy land and so much more
3. Pumpkin Land
The attention to detail and creativity in each pumpkin and hay figure at Triple B Farms is absolutely amazing. From whimsical scarecrows and playful animals to festive fall scenes and characters made entirely out of hay bales and pumpkins, each display is thoughtfully crafted to capture the magic of the season. Our kids always have a blast finding their favorite setups and characters then posing for pictures, and it has become a must-do activity during every visit.
4. Food Barn
One of the must-have treats when we visit Triple B Farms is the irresistible apple cider donuts. Made fresh daily, these donuts are soft, perfectly spiced, and coated with just the right amount of sugar, making them a seasonal delight that keeps families coming back year after year. The Food Barn also offers a variety of delicious options, including apple fries, hot dogs, and other classic fair-style foods. Don’t forget that October brings even more tasty choices, as multiple weekends are dedicated to food trucks and local vendors setting up shop across the farm. We enjoyed the most delicious apple cider drink with oatmilk from ther Juicery and it did not disappoint. Be sure to check the calendar below for the exact dates and vendor lineups so you don’t miss out on all the flavors of fall at Triple B Farms!
5. Farm Market
The Farm Market at Triple B Farms has all kinds of locally grown and sourced foods for you and your family to enjoy. From jams, fruits and veggies, there's plenty for everyone to enjoy. There is even a little shop to browse as well if you are looking for something unique to gift someone. Also, their fudge is to die for and I highly recommend getting some the next time you visit Triple B Farms.
