Sunshine Parties and Play is a unique full-service decorating and gated soft play company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded with the goal of creating a safe and engaging environment for children at events, the company offers a variety of services tailored to kids of all ages.
Angela, a dedicated mom, nurse, and small business owner, found her inspiration during a family dinner in 2022 while chasing her youngest daughter, Callie, through a friend's non-baby-proofed home. It was then that she realized the stress many parents face when planning or attending events with young children.
With the power struggles and boredom that comes from traditional playpens, along with the acknowledgment that children are typically more behaved when engaged in something interesting, helped spark the idea of creating something that all children would enjoy. From this came the birth of Sunshine Parties and Play!
On the day of Angela's daughter's first birthday party, there was an expectation of a dozen toddlers and potential chaos. However, to everyone's relief, the play space was a hit. The children were engaged, interacting, and well-behaved throughout the event, allowing the adults at the party to relax and enjoy themselves. Encouraged by the positive feedback and numerous requests from attending moms, Angela decided to launch Sunshine Parties and Play, a mobile soft play company.
